The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America estimates as many as 5.1 million Americans may have Alzheimer’s disease, and the Lewy Body Dementia Association estimates 1.4 million individuals have Lewy Body Dementia in the United States. Numerous other types of dementia exist including Frontotemporal Dementia and Vascular Dementia. You are not alone. Wyoming Dementia Care helps families and caregivers of those with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia-related illnesses care for their loved ones. We provide FREE direct services, support, encouragement, and access to many community resources and techniques to help caregivers meet the challenges of caring for their loved ones. |
Located in our office Wyoming Dementia Care has literature on hand from the National Institute on Aging as well as numerous other sources. These and many other resources can be accessed online. We also have a small lending library of books and DVDs related to dementia. There are many facets of caregiving, and many of the brochures we stock can be helpful tools.
